Lesson 11: Self-Control

$1.00

These lessons are designed to introduce and reinforce early reading skills and three core character values of empathy, respect, and responsibility. The literacy strategies rely on sensory experiences to introduce phonemic awareness, encoding and decoding, sentence structure, and emergent writing. Common language arts standards are identified in each lesson for co-curricular planning. Special thanks to field test programs who provided valuable input from Northside Learning Center, Chattanooga, TN, Chattanooga State Community College Preschool, Chattanooga, TN, and The Bloomsbury Forest School in
Smyrna, TN.

In this Lesson, students will focus on ELA literacy objectives, character word studies and character objectives.

The story in this lesson is available in our shop: Train Your Angry Dragon by Steve Herman and Alexander, Who Used to be Rich Last Sunday by Judith Viorst
